Daniel was born in April 1986 in Eskilstuna, Sweden.
He was raised in Myrtorp, Eskilstuna by his parents and older brother.
The piano
He got into music at an early age through his older brother who played the guitar every freakin’ day.
He started taking a few chords on the guitar at home and pretty soon started to play the piano.
Tinitus
The years went by and it wasn’t until the 8th grade that he started to play in a band.
He started playing guitar in the group Tinitus, but soon switched to keyboards. Suddenly when the band lost it's bassplayer, Daniel switched again filled that place.
Friends
It was then he met the big-eyed guitarist Mikael who joined the band. Tinitus broke up later on, but Daniel and Mikael continued playing more and more together, which later resulted in Tambu.
Daniel started taking piano lessons in the 4th grade and is still taking them.
Six years later he also started to take basslessons, but his primary instrument is still the piano.
Teachers
He’s very grateful to have had Peter Richloow and Anders Andersson as his pianoteachers.
Daniel also went at a music gymnasium in Eskilstuna where he got a lot of
inspiration from his music teachers. “Those three years was the best years of school I’ve had”
Influences
Daniels biggest influences are Pain of Salvation, Robert Wells,
Dire Straits, David Paich, and Metallica just to name a few of them.
